TRAVERSE RUN is more than just 5 days of running; it’s a truly all-inclusive adventure. Experience extraordinary hospitality for 8 days and 7 nights in Tanzania, 30 May - 6 June 2027.
From the moment you exit the airport until you enjoy your last beer and are delivered to departures for your return flight, you will find we really have thought of — and provided — everything.
Event categories are solo (male and female) and 2-person relay.
REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
Shared accommodation for 7 nights / 8 days
Basic tent with ground mattress and pillow
5 days of running
Transfers from Kilimanjaro Airport & return + all transport during event
3 meals per day + feed zones on course
Water, hydration formula, coffee, tea, soda, beer, and wine
Park fees, concessions, levies, and taxes
Medical services & emergency evacuation
International flights, Tanzanian visas, and personal travel, health, and accident insurance are not included.

SPECTATOR PACKAGES
Friends and family can experience TRAVERSE alongside their racer in one of two ways.
Accompanying Participant Package:
Travel with TRAVERSE throughout the full event.
Share a tent with your racer throughout all seven nights of the event.
Includes transportation, accommodation, food & drink, entry to the national parks & wildlife management areas, and opportunities to enjoy cultural experiences & activities along the route.

Simba Farm Lodge Package:
Relax at Simba Farm Lodge while your loved one does considerably less relaxing.
Spend the first three nights camping with your racer at Simba Farm.
Once the race leaves the farm, move into a private lodge room for the following four nights. Private lodge rooms are limited and allocated in order of registration.
Your week can include farm and cultural activities, massage and spa treatments, excellent food and plenty of time to relax.
After the event we will transport you to reunite with your racer in Arusha, Moshi or at the airport.
Includes transportation, accommodation, food and drink, as well as selected daily activities.
Price: USD $2190 until 15 January
REFUNDS & DEFERRALS
Entry is confirmed upon full payment only. Refunds for cancellations — for event entry and/or add-on packages — will be available as follows, as a percentage of fees received by TRAVERSE:
95% refund available through 15 January
50% refund available through 15 April
Payments are non-refundable beginning 16 April
Entries can be deferred for one year if requested before 15 April. The deferral fee is USD $200 per runner, payable upon request.
Runner changes / number transfers are permitted if requested before 30 April for a USD $200 change fee, payable upon request.
If the event, or any part of it, is for any reason modified or cancelled, payments will be refundable as per above.
