TRAVERSE RUN is more than just 5 days of running; it’s a truly all-inclusive adventure. Experience extraordinary hospitality for 8 days and 7 nights in Tanzania, 30 May - 6 June 2027.
From the moment you exit the airport until you enjoy your last beer and are delivered to departures for your return flight, you will find we really have thought of — and provided — everything.
Event categories are solo (male and female) and 2-person relay.
REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
Shared accommodation for 7 nights / 8 days
Basic tent with ground mattress and pillow
5 days of running
Transfers from Kilimanjaro Airport & return + all transport during event
3 meals per day + feed zones on course
Water, hydration formula, coffee, tea, soda, beer, and wine
Park fees, concessions, levies, and taxes
Medical services & emergency evacuation

REFUNDS, CHANGES & DEFERRALS
Entry is confirmed upon full payment only. Refunds for cancellations — for event entry and/or add-on packages — will be available as follows, as a percentage of fees received by TRAVERSE:
100% refund available through 15 December
70% refund available through 5 March
30% refund available through 30 April
Payments are non-refundable beginning 1 May
Entries can be deferred for one year if requested before 5 March. The deferral fee is USD $200 per runner, payable upon request.
Runner changes / number transfers are permitted if requested before 30 April for a USD $200 change fee, payable upon request.
If the event, or any part of it, is for any reason modified or cancelled, payments will be refundable as per above.
