TRAVERSE MTB is more than just 5 days of cycling; it’s a truly all-inclusive adventure. Experience extraordinary hospitality for 8 days and 7 nights in Tanzania, 2027 dates TBA.
From the moment you exit the airport until you enjoy your last beer and are delivered to departures for your return flight, you will find we really have thought of — and provided — everything.
TRAVERSE MTB is a solo event, with male and female categories.
REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
Accommodation for 7 nights / 8 days
Basic tent with ground mattress and pillow
5 days of cycling + bike wash
Transfers from Kilimanjaro Airport & return + all transport during event
3 meals per day + feed zones on course
Water, hydration formula, coffee, tea, soda, beer, and wine
Park fees, concessions, levies, and taxes
Medical services & emergency evacuation

In order to ensure a premier experience, the 2027 field will be limited to 70 registered cyclists.

Walk-in tent with sleeping cot, mattress, pillow, sheet and duvet + floor mat and chairs at entrance

Post-stage service each day (degrease drive train + lube, index gears, check chain, brake pads, bearings, sealant levels, headset, BB, hubs, & bolts, and lubrication)

REFUNDS, CHANGES & DEFERRALS
Entry is confirmed upon full payment only. Refunds for cancellations — for event entry and/or add-on packages — will be available as follows, as a percentage of fees received by TRAVERSE:
100% refund available through 5 December
70% refund available through 5 March
30% refund available through 30 April
Payments are non-refundable beginning 31 April
Entries can be deferred for one year if requested before 5 March. The deferral fee is USD $200 per rider, payable upon request.
Rider changes / number transfers are permitted if requested before 30 April for a USD $200 change fee, payable upon request.
If the event, or any part of it, is for any reason modified or cancelled, payments will be refundable as per above.
